Day 109: Sugar Food

Abandon health, all ye who enter here.
TastyKakes are made of sugary goodness and can save you from icky moods, but you will lose nine teeth for it.
And it is so worth it.

Day 106: USB

Awaken, USB-Bot. Rise and give power to hungry devices.
Save them from their lifeless lithium ions and blinking battery meters.
Only you have the power to save them!

Day 105: Cup o' Sunshine

Weave, weave, weave me the sunshine out of the fallin' rain.
Weave me the hope of a new tomorrow and fill my cup again!

No actual sunshine used in this photo. Not that there was any sun to be had today. However, orange juice from an orange cup tastes sunny enough for me, and I don't mind the rain.

Day 104: Cake!

Caaaaake.
Cake!
Chocolate and icing and more chocolate.
Yay cake!

Day 102: Crescents

Nothin' much to say about this. Just a buncha little moons or something.

Apr 22, 2010

Day 101: Bubble

I don't know. I shined a bright light into the lens, and this cute little bubble of light showed up.

Day 100: Spotlight

Dramatic lion is dramatic.

Day 99: Red Leaves, White Flowers

Went on a walk today and got a bunch of decent photos, so I couldn't post just one. So these ones are my favorites for today, and umm... they are pretty! And red and white! Yay!

Day 98: May the Forks be with You

On the DS screen, they looked like shiny spiky blades of death. But now they seem like some kind of metal petals to me. How odd.

(GAH! Completely forgot to even take photos last night. I am fail. Well, another photo coming later, I hope. *fudges date*)

Day 97: Old Friends - Uncle Roarington

On the way home from their campout, Roary and friends passed by Roary's uncle Roarington, who was on his way home from mailing a letter. Roarington was an older lion whose mane was smaller now and who had no more whiskers. Roarington was happy to see his nephew and also happy to invite him and his friends to watch movies on his brand new huge TV. So Roary and friends went to Roarington's house, and they were all surprised by how big the screen was! It was as big as 12 little TVs put together, Roary said.

But when it came time to pick what to watch, no one could agree on one film. Roary wanted to watch an action adventure, Quackie wanted a thriller, Fetch wanted a romantic comedy, and Roarington was fond of Westerns. Then Roarington said, why not watch one of each? There's plenty of hours left in the weekend. Everyone liked that plan, so they sat around all day watching movies and eating snacks. Although Roarington did burn the first bag of popcorn.

First they watched a thriller, because they didn't want to watch it when it was dark out. It wasn't a very scary movie, but everyone loved the plot twist at the end. Then they watched the romantic comedy, which was cheesy but good fun and ended with the main characters kissing in an airport. Then they watched the adventure movie, where the hero was chasing ninjas while being chased by pirates, while he tried to recover a magic diamond that grants wishes during a solar eclipse. No one had any idea what was going on in the movie, but they thought the fight scenes were spectacular.

By the time it was uncle Roarington's turn, everyone else was getting sleepy. But Roarington wasn't disappointed. He had a great time watching movies with Roary and his silly friends. And as they left to go home and sleep, Roarington told them they were always welcome to stop by, and maybe they can watch his Western next time. 'Cause he knew that when his turn does come around, his favorite movie will be a big hit with everyone. And he'll make sure not to burn any popcorn next time.

The End!

Day 96: Old Friends - Quackie

The next day, Roary and Fetch decided to invite another friend over for the night, Quackie the duck. But Roary wanted to have a sleepover in his cave. Fetch didn't want to sleep in a cold and dusty old cave and said she would bring a tent and sleep outside. But Quackie had a better idea: Why not go camping! So Roary, Fetch, and Quackie packed some food and things into a wagon and pulled it along until they found a good spot for a fire.

Once the fire was going, everyone ate marshmallows and sang songs and talked about the moon and stars. Then someone brought up the idea to tell scary stories! Roary and Fetch weren't very good at telling scary stories. Roary tried to spook everyone with a tale of the day a chicken nugget fell on the floor for longer than five seconds. Fetch told a story about getting a flea on her ear that wouldn't leave her be.

But Quackie's was the scariest of all. The Tale of the Deformed Duckling gave Fetch and Roary shivers that lasted until they were bundled up in their sleeping bags, when all the scary melted away into comfy. They knew they were safe, and they fell asleep fast and didn't have a single nightmare.

Day 95: Old Friends - Fetch

Fetch the puppy invited Roary to sleep over at her house tonight. They talked about butterflies and things that bounce, and they had bacon bits for dinner. When it came time to lay down to sleep, Roary was a little bummed 'cause Fetch wanted the big comfy fancy bed. But he decided it was okay anyway. He was a gentleman, and he knew it wouldn't be right to have Fetch sleep on the floor. And besides, Roary liked the floor just fine. So Fetch and Roary stayed up talking about dreams and clouds and whose fur was fuzziest until neither of them could stop yawning, then they turned the light off and went to sleep, and they dreamt about bouncing butterflies in a cloud of bacon bits.

Day 94: Diet Coke

The liquid darkness, permeating beyond its container. 22 ounces of caffeinated corruption await you.
Drink if you dare.

Apr 14, 2010

Day 93: Sunny Stripes

I kinda think it looks like a barcode.
*boop* "$8.55."
"Do you take pocket lint?"
"Sorry, no large bills."

I'm weird, aren't I?

Day 92: Easter Aftermath

Ah, the discarded remains of delicious chocolateness. Ooh, but I see there's one left! Mine!

Apr 12, 2010

Day 91: Dandy Lions

Today I have a different type of lion! Whee!

Day 90: Who's in the Kitchen?

I didn't turn the light on. There is SOMEONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE!
Wait, I don't live alone. And it's only my brother.
Erm. Well, anyway, I like this photo for two reasons. Kind of. And I don't expect anyone else to agree. Anyway, one of them is how much black I got into it without it being stupidly dark. (Though it is on the fuzzy side.)
The other reason is the fact that I got a photo that *can't* be taken when the sun is up and still actually kind of like it. Okay, so maybe that second reason isn't a reason at all. (I like it because I like it?) But for all I complain about having to use indoor light sometimes, it was nice to do something outdoor light can't do. Even though I didn't exactly intend to do that. I kind of wasted much of today on non-photo things, and forgot to actually bring my DS when I went out. Blah and sigh.

Day 89: Señor Sombrero's Siesta

Alliteration addiction appears again!
Miniature Mexican, sleeping soundly.
Crazy canine continues contrived commentary.
...
Has headache.

Day 88: You Can't Take the Time from Me

"Doc! What year is this?? Is that a spaceship!?"

Apr 8, 2010

Day 87: Curtains

It's coitains f'you, undehstand? Coitains!

(They are not actually purple-ish. That was just me messing with the photo slightly. But I like it better this way, so nyah.)

Apr 7, 2010

Day 86: Easter Flowers

Flowers! And I think they're real this time! That, however, is not a real pink baby chick. But ain't he adorable? Awwwwww. cheep cheep cheep

Also, hooray for me using sunlight while I have it! Not a lot of it, but it's definitely better than if I used icky indoor light.

Apr 6, 2010

Day 85: Snack Prize

I seem to have won an enchanted sunstone in my bag of Andy Capp's Hot Fries.
If it weren't 80 degrees outside, this would be pretty awesome.
Well, I guess I don't have to waste electricity lighting the room, at least.
Oh, and vampires will never be a problem. Unless this thing runs out of magic. And I don't think it'll take AA batteries.

Apr 5, 2010

Day 84: Some Jars

Time for another edition of TD Takes Photos of Random Anything 'Cause He's Way-Stupid-Late Posting Again.
Wait, are they still called jars if they're not round? Somehow, it seems like they should be called something else, but there's no other word to reach for... Meh, whatever.

Apr 4, 2010

Day 83: Button of Power

The Button of Power! The one and only thing to save you from the Evil Symbol of Evilllll!
Quick! Push it!
...
Hooray!

Apr 3, 2010

Day 82: Evil Symbol of Evilllll!

Daily Shoot said to do paper, and I've been meaning to scan this symbol anyway, so I figure why not do a photo of it and get two things done. I designed this symbol for my D&D campaign, and I think it's pretty cool lookin'. It's very loosely based on that radiation hazard symbol and is a mark found on people cursed by some evil... something. I'm not saying much, on the chance that my D&D group will read this before they find out more, but there's really not much left to say anyway.

Day 81: Roary Story, Part 6

After he filled his belly, the tree picked him up and placed him atop its branches, where he could rule from on high. But mostly Roary purred and curled up for a nice long nap.

The End

Day 80: Roary Story, Part 5

Leaping from the blanket, he quickly caught one of the nuggets in his jaws, and the herd scattered.
"Roary, you got crumbs on my laptop," said the nearby tree, but the lion paid it no mind.
