Day 79: Roary Story, Part 4

When lunch time came around, a tasty herd of chicken nuggets came thundering in from the horizon. Roary stayed downwind and moved silently over the folds of wrinkled blanket to stalk his prey.

Day 78: Roary Story, Part 3

Roary stepped proudly out of his cave to find a nice sunny spot to lay around in until lunch time. Being a late sleeper, he usually skipped over breakfast.

Day 77: Roary Story, Part 2

Outside the cave, scary things waited and watched from the vines of computer and video game cables, but Roary let out a deafening MEW that made all the scaries run and hide.

Day 76: Roary Story, Part 1

Roary Story
by me

Roary the lion woke up in his cave. Well, it wasn't actually a cave. It was the space under the bed. But for Roary the tiny lion, it was a cave, and he was the king of the jungle bedroom.

Day 75: Artifacts of the Foodomancer

Just some green plastic tools of food sorcery with shadows and some shiny.

Mar 26, 2010

Day 74: HDTV

My brother's HDTV is only 2 inches.
I think he got ripped off.

(Cheating. Older photo. Yeah, this was really better than any idea I had today. Also, I need to stop wasting daylight. *sigh*)

Mar 25, 2010

Day 73: Some Towels

I know where all my towels are. They're upstairs, in the bathroom closet.
That's right. I am the hoopiest frood there ever was.

Mar 24, 2010

Day 72: Shiny Bun

Nothin' much to say about this. Just a shiny bunny decoration with a butterfly on her arm.

Mar 23, 2010

Day 71: Chief Red Mountain

The curse was a heavy weight on the Gray family for months. The nightmares haunted them night after night, no matter where they slept, if the sacrifice was not made. Every full moon, the Grays presented their offering to the image of Chief Red Mountain to appease the angry spirit, and the next morning, the offering would vanish.

The family watched as Mr. Gray laid this month's sacrifice before the altar.

"We're running out of neighbors," he said.

Day 70: Lemon-Lime Nebula

Here we have an image of the Lemon-Lime Nebula, as viewed in the grape spectrum. This nebula is named after the astronomers Dr. Faith Lemon and Mr. Carl Lime of the Soda Carbonarium Society of Pennsylvania. This nebula is notable for the unusually high levels of corn syrup radiation and its sweet fizzy flavor.

Day 69: Old Car

Cheating today. I got this one on the same day as the Pokemon one, but after I had put it up. But anyways. I'm no expert nor appreciator of "automobiles", and I don't even know which company made this, but this old-lookin' black car I walked by that day was pretty cool. So I monochromed it to make the photo look old too. So maybe this is a good cheat. I dunno. But I feel good about it.

Mar 20, 2010

Day 68: It Begins Again

Yep. I got Pokemon HeartGold. This is the PokeWalker pedometer that comes with it. As HeartGold is a remake of Gold, the PokeWalker is sort of a remake of the Pokemon Pikachu 2 toy, though it seems to have more goodies, and you can have Pokemon other than Pikachu in it. I have a Pidgey in there right now, and I caught an Oddish with it. Woohoo, another pile of wasted hours of my life. But at least it's fun, I guess...

Mar 19, 2010

Day 67: Budding Branch

It seems I have... Alliteration Addiction! *badum-KSH*

Poor tree's been hungry for sun for so long. But not anymore!

Mar 18, 2010

Day 66: Laptop Lights

I'm... not sure what I'm doing anymore. But yay for green and green-ish glowy things. I guess. I'll try for something better tomorrow...

Mar 17, 2010

Day 65: Kissing Pizza

They weren't the prettiest faces in Calorie High, all greasy with red spots, yet they were the cutest couple.

(Meh. Don't actually like this photo, but I liked the idea for the caption. *shrug*)

Mar 16, 2010

Day 64: Abstract 64

This isn't much, but it's better than having to cheat again. Since this is day 64, I figured I'd try to see what shapes the Nintendo 64 had that I could frame into something interesting. I get the feeling I could have done better than this, but I like it well enough, once you take it as nothing more than shapes. Also, I think that controller port looks a little bit like a Metroid. Well... kind of. *shrug*

Mar 15, 2010

Day 63: Photos of Lateness

I both didn't like any of the photos I got yesterday and was too many hours late getting something up, so I'm going to go ahead and post two older photos and hope that's good enough... (Bleh. I suck.)

Both are from the day I attempted random symmetry photos. I'll call the first Closet Cube.
The world looks very interesting through a mirrored image. An ordinary closet (still unpainted since built) becomes this strange... fixture. I wonder what you'd keep in it, or if it does anything. Or maybe it's the entrance to a secret tunnel to an underground vault. I have no idea.

I shall call the second photo... Dresser Diamonds. Hooray, alliteration!
Well, one of them is a dresser. The other diamond is the spackle on the other unpainted part of my room, lining the border between the pieces of wall that were already there and the parts added. For whoever might be interested, the items on my dresser from... err, top to middle, are a basket full of random books (with volume 1 of the Phoenix Wright manga pokin' out), a lava lamp that hasn't worked in well over a decade, a stack consisting of a Japanese/English dictionary, my Bible, and a Guinness World Records book, and my mutant black robo-kitty who I have named Arthas Menethil. You probably think I'm insane whether you recognize the name or not.

Anyway, I hope I don't mess up again next time...

Mar 14, 2010

Day 62: Fragments of Light

Spontaneously random photo victory. I was just sitting down to play Dungeon & Dragons, and I held the DS up to one of the fake crystal thingies hanging from the chandelier, and this is what came out. Maybe a little bit messy, but the shapes and colors work for me, so this is what I picked. Yup.

Mar 13, 2010

Day 61: Waves of Rain

Lots of rain today. Lookin' out the car window, watching reality distorted through the ripples of water and never quite the same from moment to moment. And then I got a new DS game.

Mar 12, 2010

Day 60: Abstract Guitar?

I'm not sure what the goal was when I combined these two photos of the same guitar, but I got what I aimed for. And I think it's just disconnected enough from the object it's based on to be called abstract. Well, whatever this is, I found it interesting.

Mar 11, 2010

Day 59: Oops

This might count more as a screenshot than an actual photo, but I don't care. I wanted to do something weird.

It won't matter when the machines come to kill me anyway.

Mar 10, 2010

Day 58: Abstract Lego

Another randomly abstract something. Maybe I'll run with this for a few days.

Mar 9, 2010

Day 57: Abstract Symmetry

Daily Shoot told me to do symmetry. Luckily, the DSi photo app has just the tool for it. I took a few random photos that looked somewhat interesting, but I think this works best for me. And black and white crossing each other vaguely reminds me of Kingdom Hearts II. Kinda.

Mar 8, 2010

Day 56: Z for Zipper

Now I know my ABCs!

I don't know long I've had this hooded jacket now. It seems to still fit me, against all reason. I bought a heavier coat not long after I got that one, and it was too big on me when I first got it, and now it fits perfect. But the hooded one fits the same as it ever did. It must be magic. I don't know what the "YKK" on the zipper is, but maybe it's the initials of the wizard who enchanted it.

Mar 7, 2010

Day 55: Y for Yellow

This seems a little like cheating 'cause I already did one about yellow. And besides, this probably has more orange. But they're pencils, darnit, and every kid ever will tell you they are yellow. And this is probably the best I think I'm gonna get for bein' late. Oh, well. It's good enough.

Mar 6, 2010

Day 54: X for XKCD

goldfishy gets points for the idea. XKCD might not have occured to me until it was too late to make something good out of it. I think I lose 150 nerd points for that. But anyway, this was sorta fun to put together. So yay.

I think that Creative Commons thing says I have to credit the original work or something. And you kind of have to see it to get it anyway. So here be a link: XKCD

Mar 5, 2010

Day 53: W for Winter

Winter seems to have finally begun its retreat. I always miss the snow, but I never do anything with it while it's here. But it's always outdoors. And cold. And I'm a lazyhead. Bye, snow!

Mar 4, 2010

Day 52: V for V

It's both a V and its value in Roman numerals in chocolate cherry thingies. That is yay. I think.

Mar 3, 2010

Day 51: U for Upside-Down

Dangit. This new Matrix is stupid. My gravity value got flipped again. Who even makes gravity a signed integer? It'll take them another two weeks to patch this, I'm sure. I just want a cup of apple juice.

Mar 2, 2010

Day 50: T for Too Many

"How do I put on the BluRay?"
"Just hit 'input'."
"Uhh. Which one?"
"Ummmm."

We have too many remotes.

(*siiigh* Messed up sleep schedule makes for lazy photography and forgetting to post a photo. *fudges the date again* I don't remember when I got this photo, but it wasn't today or yesterday. And this photo isn't good anyway. Me = lame.)

Mar 1, 2010

Day 49: S for Spock

Player 2 Wins!

This photo was hard to get. The DSi camera doesn't have a timer function, so this required aiming without seeing and hitting the button with my tongue, which is not easy.

Okay, I lied. This is two photos. And they were ridiculously easy to combine. But I fooled you, right?

Oh, it's not April.
