Ahh, the ancient Casiotone MT-140. I'm not sure, but it might be older than I am. How I remember pretending to play the piano after hitting the red demo button that plays an extra cheesy MIDI-ish version of Night Birds by Shakatak. '80s-tastic.
Also, I sort of like the accidental (Get it?) sort of visual pun of a pseudo-sunrise at the end of rising notes. Heh.
I don't quite know how to say what all I like about it well enough - but the sunrise effect is good, the light down all the black notes in the middle is great and I like the angle it's taken from - it's just really good - leads your eye off into the distance - like a sunset on a beach makes you want to walk all down the beach.
ReplyDeleteAnd I did the same with the demo button - 3 year old prodigy - or so my mum's friend thought for all of 2 minutes until my mum busted me!
I've never seen an old synthesizer look so beautiful! I love it! (And I think we had the same one when I was little. Wow.)
